Rescatados cuatro espeleólogos ingleses atrapados en "Asopladeru La Texa"

Four British cavers have been rescued today by the Mountain Group Guardia Civil de Cangas de Onis last night after being caught a few hundred meters deep in a pit Picos de Europa that began to flood by heavy rains yesterday in the Principality.
Civil Guard reported today in a statement that the notice that the four cavers, aged between 22 and 29 years, could not find rope used as a guide to go outside the cave what alerted emergency services at 20:50 pm yesterday.
Four young people were trapped inside the pit known as "Asopladeru The Texa", located on the southeast side of the peak "Head Muxa" belonging to the Western Massif of the Picos de Europa, in the municipality of Onis.
21:00 pm A three experts from the Special Intervention Group in Mountain moved to the base camp of these cavers located in the Vega de Ario shelter, where they spent the night.
At 8:30 pm today began work to approach the gulf, arriving at 9:45 am beginning the entry in it.
Once inside the cave, in an area known as meandering "loop of the gauge" with very strong strictures, the rescuers came in contact with the four cavers cries demanding help and who had been trapped as a result of the large amount of water stored inside 100 meters deep.
Around 11:00 hours, the experts of the Civil Guard located two of the young people, as they were in good shape, left by themselves, once the narrow zone and inundated. Twenty minutes
contacted the other two cavers, with which, however, the rise was not initiated until after more than an hour, once rested and able to eat and drink.
The four young, last week and had requested the help of the Guardia Civil for another incident in the same pit, were transferred to 112-Asturias helicopter to the refuge of Vega de Ario and 13:15 hours, closed the rescue.
This group was performing work of dismantling the operation deployed during the month of July to register exploration and surveying of the cave "Asopladeru The Texa.
