Snow Machine - Snow Machine (2005)

"My dad was milico so as a family, we had to move a lot. On these trips, I relegated behind the seat where he played war with my GI Joe. My mom put the music in the car and could not be changed under any excuse. When she put the cassettes of
Carpenters, Elton John and Anne Murray sang her songs her lungs and my big brothers, in revenge, they threw farts in my face. "

The quote belongs Katherine McE lroy , the chubby perna photo. She is the woman-band Snow Machine, a group that I discovered by accident when trying to download Snow Patrol from Soulseek.

The truth is that McElroy is the bassist of the indie ultra Nineteen Forty-Five and also the Three Finger Cowboy, which takes groups of friends who play an instrument on his solo project .

McElroy had an average childhood as the standard of the Americans, some silver, some penalties and many bad times in his High School. "I thought I made T-shirts of the Velvet Underground was
blockbuster" . Perna and introverted, he turned to music. At first I was a fan of U2. Yuck, she said later, and began composing sitting behind a piano.

"Snow Machine" (the compact, 2005), is one of those LP's that are passed to indie rock, composed of tracks and colorinches little letters, but
mega recommend it. Primarily for two songs that make this compact a pin: Summer snow , and Feature Film . In them, McElroy gives us moral support for this time of s OLED summer (of course, for those that we were working spiteful encouragement and love).

Because you will one day return / as a summer storm / just when I least expected / but you'd need. (Summer Snow)

Mellow, but true. It also has words for hysteria and anguish the rest of the year.

not want to sleep because I know / that I can disappear / when I wake up in the morning. / But tonight we are the Stars in the film and saw all. (Feature film)

And it continues to be the average American pasadita weight. "I am a much sadder than
qu
and was. I think my mom walked concerned when he heard the album" , saccharine explains what his lyrics made in Alabama, the land of Forrest Gump.

Sounds very depressing, sad and twisted this music to you? You're wrong. Or I wrote all of the above wrong. Listen for Traffic light to get you off those prejudices.
