The Shins - New Slang

"You gotta hear this song. It will change your life. I swear." The

before, it sounds really mine (when I get excited by an mp3 and I want to show the world, obsessed), is the work of Zach Braff . Who is this asshole? A genius. A guy who is making history in Hollywood. Have you seen Scrubs , the series ER laughs at Sony? He is the principal actor and one of the writers.

So did Garden State (2004), his debut on celluloid. How? "Braff is also a filmmaker? Yes, of course, because in this celebrated film director, screenwriter and actor.

"WHAT THE HELL IS ABOUT ALL THIS WITH THE GOOD SONG I am recommending?

lot.

Yes, because "New Slang" ("The new way to talk to fashion") is the song that Sam -the hopelessly tender Natalie Portman - literally plugs into Largeman with these headphones Giant black and just 10 seconds after they met. And it begins ...

Gold teeth and a curse for this town Were all in my mouth. Only, I do not know how They got out, dear. Turn me back Into the Pet That I Was When We Met. Then I Was happier with no mind-set.

(which means, in a very local English, to start something new, better than before). Largeman

wake of 20 years of sedatives with this song. His old remedies, a worrier and a hypochondriac psychiatrist would prescribe a child. Largeman is L Argema for the first time in the film. And start to live, to feel, to get things as they are and without a chemical sieve. Please click here to view the scene.

"This is life. This is, and nothing else. ... It's real and sometimes it fucking hurts! But it's a little all we have" , Sam tells him again later in the film.

A film without falling into arrogance and obsession of mine, I recommend to everyone. Perhaps my favorite movie. Hollywood indie for everyone. Some freak, like many challenge me later, but they have not seen anything on the subway or thought in the shower.

Who are the Shins ? 4 gringos gringos are doing little indie-pop-rock-country-folk. Two of his songs, "New Slang" and "Caring is creepy" were chosen by the same Zach Braff to compose the soundtrack of his film. Were famous but it it were more. The album was chosen as the best film music in 2005, according to Billboard and several specialized agencies of the same wavelength. If you want to download the compact, please click here ( and eye with Simon & Garfunkel song, by far the best of disco! Courtesy, obvious, DameunacanciĆ³nbuena! )

His music is quiet, good melody, simple and sometimes super shouted. I recommend it to greatly. His two compacs (Chutes Too Narrow, 2003, and Oh! Inverted World, 2001), is a chair of good music bit loud for your speakers or headphones.

Please click here to download "New Slang" , the song that I recommend in this post.

Please click here to download "Caring is creepy" , the song from the soundtrack of Garden State. And they can

click here to download the selection of 4 songs that I prepared as a bonus to all in my view, the best tracks from The Shins. Including a cover that will make you a Postal Service, the parents of indie.

I leave you with the video clip the song ...

And, of course, for those who want to know what this movie freak ... the trailer for Garden State:
